We understand the expectations of our customers and the gravitas of maintaining high standard in all elements of our business and to deliver services that manager the food and beverage supply chain.
The company’s Quality Manual endorses this, and is designed to position Chiltern as the leader in the sector.
The basis of Chiltern’s food safety control systems are HACCP plans, these systems undertaken by Chiltern demonstrate our safety assurance. The company uses HACCP as a tool to identify hazards and ensure safety.
The HACCP study is based on the assessment of risk and identifies hazards and their elimination or reduction to acceptable levels which is essential to the safe handling of food products.
HACCP is fundamental to the site operations and to the Quality Management System. The HACCP safety principles are fully supported by the Senior Management Team. Responsibility for the development, implementation and ongoing use of the HACCP systems lies with the entire site from Operations Management through to the Warehouse Operatives.
