Chiltern has sign written the back of two trailers in support of the Rider Cup 2017 Golf & Cycling Challenge which is raising funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice.

On June 15th, 2017 eight participants will cycle through the counties of Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. During the process they will play a hole of golf at 15 different golf courses finishing off with three holes at St Neots - their home club. Their intention is to tee-off at the first course at sunrise (4:43 am) and sink their final putt before sunset (9:20 pm) on the same day.  16 Golf Courses. 18 Holes. 80 Miles. 17 Hours Of Daylight.

MND affects one in every 50,000 people in the UK each year. The nature of the challenge is intended to help educate and bring awareness to MND making use of one of the longest days of the year.

Paul Jackson, managing director of Chiltern says: “We’re happy to provide support wherever we can to such worthy causes.  It will be a tough day and every penny raised will be hard earned.  Best of luck to the team.”
