Chiltern Supporting Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice

on September 07, 2017 .

Chiltern is pleased to pledge support to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough with a 1-year fundraising commitment.

Chiltern will be holding staff events through out the year and donating all the money raised to support the incredible work being done locally at Thorpe Hall.  The donations will be making a difference to hundreds of people at the most difficult time of their lives.

“We wanted it to be more than simply giving money to our local hospice.  We want it to be about staff engagement and drawing attention to the work they do at Thorpe Hall and other hospice locations across the country. We’re committed to the charity and hope we can provide regular life changing donations throughout the entire year from the staff at Chiltern.”

Paul Jackson, Managing Director of Chiltern Cold Storage Group Ltd.

"We are really grateful for this pledge of support from Chiltern Cold Storage Group. Having met the team it was great to hear so much enthusiasm for their fundraising endeavours already and we're looking forward to working with them over the coming year. We're a charity and have to fundraise around £1.5 million a year to provide end of life and palliative care services for people from across the region. Support from businesses is a really important part of that fundraising."
